About The Position

This role involves performing a variety of assembly operations in a manufacturing environment. The Production Assembler will operate manufacturing equipment, assist with line setups, and maintain quality standards through visual inspection. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to solve minor problems, and flexibility in work assignments. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

• Ability to perform basic math ' add, subtract, multiply whole numbers, fractions and decimals
• Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement

• Ability to read and understand procedure, routers and instruction

Responsibilities

• Safely perform a variety of assembly operations, complying with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
• Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment following established Standard Operating Procedures
• Assist with line set ups, start up and maintaining a clean and orderly work area
• Maintain quality standards as described in the quality system by visually inspect parts, components and subassemblies
• Recognize and solve minor problems that arise
• Perform any necessary material handling requirements of the job
• Perform other duties that may be assigned
