About The Position

The Production Assembler prepares work by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, then gathering the necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. The role involves positioning and assembling components, checking fit and measurements, resolving assembly issues, and meeting production schedules. The assembler also helps maintain equipment, workplace safety and cleanliness, supplies inventory, production and quality records, and overall team results. Spectrum manufactures swimming pool equipment in Montana and describes its workplace as a fun environment focused on building communities through play and recreation.

Responsibilities

Review assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
Assemble components, examine connections for correct fit, and fasten parts and subassemblies.
Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications and notifying a supervisor when additional resources are needed.
Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance, following manufacturer instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
Monitor supplies inventory, anticipate supply needs, place and expedite orders, and verify receipt of supplies.
Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Complete production and quality forms to document actions.
Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed.
Maintain consistent and on-time attendance.
