About The Position

Join Life Fitness/Hammer Strength in Owatonna, MN as a Production Assembler on our 1st Shift. You'll assemble, test, and inspect high-quality fitness equipment in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on work
• Commitment to working safely
• Ability to operate hand tools, gauges, torque wrenches, and production equipment
• Ability to perform basic math
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures, work instructions, and production documentation in English

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience with hand and air tools

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and components needed for assembly
• Assemble products according to production schedules and established procedures
• Use hand tools, air tools, gauges, torque wrenches, and testing equipment
• Inspect during and after assembly to ensure quality standards are met
• Test completed units to verify proper operation and functionality
• Cross-train to work at multiple stations as needed
• Identify and communicate quality concerns and assist with resolution
• Follow material replenishment processes to support production flow
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and dispose of waste properly
• Perform other duties as assigned
