About The Position

Perform packaging operations on a variety of metal and vinyl products.

Requirements

• Able to work and communicate with others and follow direct orders.
• Good hand and eye coordination.
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, dividing, and multiplying).
• Basic writing skills are required to complete daily production records.
• Basic verbal communication skills are required to transfer or interpret the explanation of problems and to receive and understand work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Refer to work schedules to determine items to be processed and receive verbal instructions from others regarding daily assignments.
• Operate packaging operations on metal products.
• Monitor continually for acceptable quality.
• Replenish supply as needed.
• Set up and change over as needed.
• Catch products coming off the end of the line and stack.
• Complete production records.
• Maintain work areas in a clean, orderly fashion.
• Dispose of scrap materials in appropriate containers.
• As directed, perform associated duties of equal or less difficulty.
• Must be able to always interact with employees professionally.
