About The Position

The Assembler performs general duties under the direction of the production supervisor; this includes installing lead wires or terminals and insulation per the production specification sheet. Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by working independently or with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency, identifying lead wire and terminal types and installing them per production specification sheet, assuring that all products meet the highest standard of quality, following all safety rules and ISO requirements, adhering to all company rules and policies, keeping work areas clean and organized, ensuring that work practices are in the guidelines of OSHA standards, and operating a hoist properly and safely.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
• Read, use, and understand measuring devices.
• Ability to stand for excessive periods of time.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Understanding measurements using standard and metric measuring devices.
• Proficiency with hand tools (side cutters, lineman pliers, etc…).

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
