About The Position

This is a full-time position operating in a warehouse environment. The role involves assembling panel components using hand and power tools, following detailed instructions and diagrams to construct frames. Quality checks are essential to ensure products meet standards. The position requires operating an up-cut saw safely and efficiently, working collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals, and adhering to all safety protocols. The company's purpose is to build the most valued window and door brand in America, and this role contributes to that mission by assembling quality products.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret production specifications and drawings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software programs.
  • Great interpersonal skills are essential to operate in and maintain a team environment.
  • Great communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and move components weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Frequent walking and bending are required.
  • Candidates must provide truthful and complete information regarding their eligibility to work in the U.S. and any current or future need for employment sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of previous experience in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble panel components using hand tools and power tools, such as drills, impact drivers, and grinders.
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions and diagrams to accurately construct frames.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure that products meet specified standards and are free from damage or defects.
  • Sort and organize materials and components needed for frame assembly.
  • Operate up cut saw safely and efficiently.
  • Work closely with other team members to achieve production goals and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Demonstrate MITER Brands Guiding Principles in all business interactions.
