American Excelsior Company is seeking a Production Assembler to join our Foam Fabrication team. Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for up to 8+ hour shift
• Regularly required to use hands to handle or feel, push buttons, reach with hands and arms
• Able to speak, read, and understand English

Responsibilities

• Places two or more pieces together to develop more complex units, sprays adhesive along edge, and presses edges of pieces together to form cushion, mattress, or other foam items
• Glues around edges of assembled piece and over seams to provide smooth finish and reinforce seams
• Places foam pieces into places bags or boxes as required
• Checks for quality and accuracy of products
• Keeps count of items being boxed/shipped
• Operates press machines, small cutdown saws, and/or additional machinery in a safe manner in order to maximize production and efficiency
• Read and interpret tape measurer
• Other duties as assigned
