About The Position

The Production Assembler is responsible for safely assembling component parts in accordance with standard work instructions and quality standards. The role uses hand tools and power tools to manufacture frozen beverage dispensers and is based in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• 0 to 6 months of assembly or production experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good communication skills and fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and reference check.
• Ability to stand, push, pull, coordinate eye, hand, and foot movements, and occasionally walk.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• Clarity of vision, including the ability to differentiate colors appropriately.
• Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience with basic hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols, promptly report incidents, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Inspect and assemble components according to standard work instructions and FBD quality standards.
• Measure and compare dimensions with a ruler to ensure parts meet specified tolerances as required.
• Crosstrain and rotate between production-floor workstations as directed to support production demand.
• Process non-conformance reports (NCRs) for rejected material according to the FBD NCR process.
• Verify bills of materials (BOMs) for each build and report errors.
• Participate in lean activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with FBD 5S policies.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
