About The Position

The Assembler I performs a series of assembly tasks to manufacture products in HVO's portfolio. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position responsible for production manufacturing. The role requires the ability to learn assembly steps, meet productivity rates, and understand quality expectations for multiple products. The assembler must maintain accurate work records, adhere to quality system policies, and promptly report any issues to leadership. Good work habits and positive behaviors are expected, along with adherence to safety regulations and maintaining a clean work area. Proper hygiene and gowning procedures must be followed.

  • High school diploma/GED or proven work experience in related field.
  • Able to lift 30 - 40 pounds with assistance.
  • Good manual dexterity requiring hand-eye coordination.
  • Upper body repetitive motion requiring standing to perform tasks.
  • May be required to stand or sit for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Learn assembly steps and meet productivity rates on multiple products.
  • Learn and demonstrate quality expectations of products being produced.
  • Keep accurate work records.
  • Learn relevant quality system policies and work instructions.
  • Promptly advise immediate leadership of any issues that may arise.
  • Demonstrate good work habits and positive behaviors.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of HVO safety expectations and regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of proper hygiene and gowning procedures.
