About The Position

Become a Key Player as a Production Assembler I. You will perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly that ensures components meet quality and safety standards. You will work closely with production leads and quality teams to meet shift targets on a 2nd shift, onsite schedule (Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM, 4/10). Your contributions keep production flow steady and support downstream manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant assembly experience
• Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a related field
• Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for working with small parts
• Ability to operate hand tools and light machinery
• Basic math skills and ability to read safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, and procedures
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to learn new processes or tasks

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts and components following written instructions and procedures
• Review shop traveler/route cards or simple schematics to confirm correct operation sequence
• Position and manipulate very small parts under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures
• Adjust, bend, align, and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts
• Bond or seal assemblies with epoxies using heaters or ovens and perform in-process testing
• Follow all safety policies and maintain consistent, punctual attendance; be available for nights, weekends, or additional hours as necessary
