About The Position

This is an onsite role on a 4/10 schedule (Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM). You will perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly that keeps production moving and products meeting specification. You will work closely with the production team and inspectors to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant experience
• Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience
• Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent related experience
• Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for small-part work
• Ability to operate hand tools and light machinery
• Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, and procedures
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Capacity to identify issues and address them and ability to learn new tasks

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts and components per instructions and procedures
• Review shop traveler/route cards or simple schematics to confirm correct sequence of operations
• Position very small parts under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures
• Adjust, bend, align, and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts
• Bond or seal parts with epoxies using direct heating elements or ovens and perform in-process testing
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and maintain regular, consistent attendance
• Support variable schedules, nights/weekends, and additional hours as necessary
