About The Position

The Senior Supervisor serves as the corrugator area leader, overseeing production flow, driving improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency, and providing backup support for shift supervisors across all shifts and weekends. Develop and implement standard work and training for fanfold and corrugate operations to improve safety, quality, efficiency, product development, and cost performance. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost results. Use continuous improvement tools to increase manufacturing quality, reliability, and efficiency. Lead capital projects and operational improvement initiatives across multiple departments. Identify root causes of equipment or process failures and implement solutions to prevent them from happening again. Manage roll stock area to ensure adequate inventory is available and usage is recorded accurately. Manage the starch system to ensure continuous and efficient flow throughout the manufacturing process and connected equipment network. Corrugating and fanfold process expert. Maintain the pay-for-skill program to ensure employee training and standard work support operational needs. Use data to monitor process performance, identify trends, and support decision-making. Implement new equipment, processes, and technologies to improve operations. Develop and conduct testing to establish process standards and verify performance requirements. Create and maintain systems that improve productivity, quality, equipment performance, automation, and downtime reduction. Back up of the shift supervisors as needed to direct and supervise the production teams to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets while achieving efficient and effective operations. Attend meetings and complete reports as needed. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing process improvement experience.
  • At least 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational improvements.
  • Demonstrated success improving efficiency, reducing costs, and applying lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to support decisions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to work collaboratively across departments and support multiple shifts as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Corrugate experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with PLCs, HMI systems, control logic, and CAD software preferred.
