Production and Supply Chain Supervisor

About The Position
This is a hands-on position that involves assembling medical devices and performing supply chain management tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must be technically inclined, detail-oriented, and highly accountable.
Requirements
- 3-5 years in manufacturing and production environments
- Experience in assembly based manufacturing environment required
- Strong understanding of production scheduling and workflow management
- ISO or structured quality systems
- Ability to read BOMs, drawings, and work instructions
- Strong Excel skills required, basic reporting and tracking KPIs
- Willing to learn quickly and take ownership of daily responsibilities
- Self Motivated with the ability to analyze performance data and implement improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead Shipping and Receiving tasks (hands-on)
- Ensure material availability to support production schedule
- Monitor critical components and prevent stock-outs
- Communicate shortages immediately to Production Lead and VP Ops
- Maintain accurate system data (lead times, minimums, safety stock, pricing)
- Develop written action plans with aggressive yet attainable due dates to address performance gaps and prevent recurrence
- Perform quality inspections on Shipping and Receiving
- Coordinate with Production on upcoming material needs
- Support cycle count execution and variance investigation
- Drive performance against Supply Chain KPIs (productivity, housekeeping, number of mistakes)
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blue prints, and schematics.
- Experience using basic hand tools for assembly
- Strong leadership presence, able to hold operators accountable.
