About The Position

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of packaging associates.
Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
Ensure the team meets production goals and quality standards.
Coordinate with production planning teams to schedule packaging activities based on production requirements.
Allocate resources to meet production targets.
Implement and enforce quality control procedures for packaging processes.
Monitor packaging lines and promptly address packaging quality issues.
Oversee packaging machinery operation and maintenance.
Coordinate with maintenance staff on equipment issues and preventive maintenance.
Maintain records of packaging activities, including production volumes, downtime, and quality control measures.
Generate reports for management on packaging performance and efficiency.
Enforce safety protocols and guidelines.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to packaging and labeling.
Communicate with other department leads and managers to coordinate production activities.
Address issues or concerns raised by team members.
