About The Position
The Production and Packaging Lead leads and supervises packaging associates, providing guidance, training, and support. The role coordinates packaging activities with production planning, allocates resources to meet production targets, and ensures production goals and quality standards are met. It oversees packaging lines, machinery, quality control, recordkeeping, and reporting while enforcing safety protocols and regulatory requirements. The lead also coordinates with maintenance staff and other department leads and managers, and addresses team members’ issues and concerns.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.

- Promptly address packaging quality issues.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of packaging machinery.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to address equipment issues and schedule preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of packaging activities, including production volumes, downtime, and quality control measures.
- Generate reports for management on packaging performance and efficiency.
- Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to packaging and labeling.
- Communicate regularly with other department leads and managers to coordinate production activities.
- Address issues or concerns raised by team members.
