About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Production and Inventory Coordinator Team Lead to join the Strategy and Integration - 787 Fulfillment Team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st shift. This role involves processing and moving production tools and other materials into and out of storage, production, and other locations to support complex production and product support activities. The position also includes monitoring and analyzing work in process, updating tool and material status using automated systems, identifying and reporting problems, and resolving discrepancies to maintain inventory and system accuracy. The Team Lead will coordinate with various functions to set priorities, expedite production activities, and ensure timely completion to avoid schedule delays. This position works under limited supervision.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in the materials planning or inventory control process role in a manufacturing environment
2+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift
Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift
2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
2+ years of Warehouse experience packaging and crating
2+ years of experience in Inventory Management
1+ years experience in Crib Masters

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience working in CMES systems/BESSY/Crib Masters
2+ years of experience using lean manufacturing principles
2+ years of experience operating a Forklift
2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving

Responsibilities

Processes and moves tools and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities
Monitors and analyzes work in process
Updates status of tools and materials using automated systems
Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to ensure tools availability
Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with tools and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy
Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays
Works under limited supervision
