About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Production and Inventory Coordinator Team Lead to join the FA 88-30 Fulfillment 2nd Shift South East Team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd shift. This role processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc. The position monitors and analyzes work in process, updates the status of parts and materials using automated systems, and identifies and reports problems and recommendations to ensure parts availability. The role also analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy. Additionally, the Production and Inventory Coordinator Team Lead coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. This position works under limited supervision.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in the materials planning or inventory control process role in a manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift
  • Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift
  • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • 2+ years of Warehouse experience packaging and crating
  • 2+ years of experience in Inventory Management

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience working in CMES systems/BESSY/Crib Masters/KITS.
  • 2+ years of experience with the ERPLN application
  • 2+ years of experience using lean manufacturing principles
  • 2+ years of experience operating a Forklift
  • 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving
