About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Production and Inventory Coordinator Team Lead to join the Mid-Body Fulfillment Team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd shift. This role processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc. The position involves monitoring and analyzing work in process, updating the status of parts and materials using automated systems, and identifying and reporting problems and recommendations to ensure parts availability. The Team Lead will also analyze problems and resolve or reconcile discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy. Additionally, they will coordinate with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. This position works under limited supervision.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in the materials planning or inventory control process role in a manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift
Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift
3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
3+ years of Warehouse experience packaging and crating
3+ years of experience in Inventory Management

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience working in Velocity/BESSY/Order Manager/KITS.
3+ years of experience with the ERPLN application
3+ years of experience using lean manufacturing principles
3+ years of experience operating a Forklift
3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving
