About The Position

The Mid-Senior Product / UX Designer will conduct research and design user-centered interfaces for digital products, including AI-centric products developed in collaboration with data science teams. The role includes creating process diagrams and user journey flows, facilitating design discussions and workshops, documenting research findings, and delivering AI-assisted UI designs or code in compliance with ADA Level AA and HFI best practices.

The designer will work closely with the UX Lead and data science teams and use Scaled Agile methodologies and JIRA to support project delivery. This is a temporary contract project estimated to last 12 or more months, with possible extensions. The position is fully onsite at the client’s site in Jupiter West, Florida; remote work is not available, and candidates must be able to relocate as required.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in UX/UI design and research for digital products, including software or enterprise software.
• Experience working with data science teams to design user interfaces for AI-centric products.
• Experience with Scaled Agile work methodologies and JIRA.
• Experience using Figma for design and LLM prompting for prototyping.
• Experience facilitating and participating in end-user feedback sessions and design testing.
• Experience documenting and communicating research findings.
• Experience delivering AI-assisted UI design or code in compliance with ADA Level AA and HFI best practices.
• Lead experience.
• Availability to work onsite 100% of the time at the client’s site in Jupiter West, Florida; candidates must be able to relocate as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research to gain insights into user needs and behaviors.
• Create process diagrams for alignment discussions and user journey flows.
• Design intuitive, user-centered digital interfaces.
• Collaborate with the UX Lead and data science teams on UI designs for AI engagements.
• Lead design conversations and workshops, developing solutions that address user needs and business goals.
• Capture requirements and challenge existing approaches to consider viable, creative solutions.
• Use Scaled Agile work methodologies and JIRA to support effective project delivery.
• Facilitate and participate in end-user feedback sessions and design testing.
• Document and communicate research findings.
• Deliver AI-assisted UI design or code in compliance with ADA Level AA and HFI best practices.
