About The Position

Hubble Network is seeking a Product/UX Designer to lead the design of its core product surfaces, including the dashboard, developer documentation, and mobile app. This role requires a deep understanding of how developers and enterprise operators interact with Hubble across all touchpoints, from initial setup to managing connected assets. The designer will be responsible for the entire user journey, ensuring a cohesive experience, conducting customer research, and developing design systems for scalability. The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, technical curiosity, and empathy for developer audiences, comfortable discussing technical details with engineers and understanding customer needs. Hubble is an early-stage, venture-backed startup building a global Bluetooth® network for machine-to-machine connectivity, aiming to be the first billion-endpoint-connected network. The founding team has a strong track record in venture funding, network development (Amazon Sidewalk), and space asset launches.

Requirements

8+ years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating strong craft and UX thinking.
Experience designing for developer audiences across multiple touchpoints (documentation, APIs, dashboards, mobile).
Understanding of how developers evaluate tools and what earns their trust.
Comfort with the full range of UX work: journey mapping, user flows, wireframing, interaction design, visual design, and prototype-based testing.
Fluency with modern design tools and AI-assisted workflows.
Strong fundamentals in information architecture, visual hierarchy, interaction design, and accessibility.
Experience with developer platforms, IoT, connectivity, infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS is preferred.
Track record designing for both product-led growth and enterprise motions.
Disciplined about sprint cadence, producing artifacts on time, communicating clearly, and closing handoff loops.
Experience building design systems that teams use, with supporting documentation.
Clear, confident communicator, able to present design rationale, hold a point of view, and write UX copy.
Self-directed, able to identify important work, prioritize effectively, and operate without close direction.
Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident (“green card holder”) as defined by ITAR.

Responsibilities

Design and evolve Hubble's dashboard for device onboarding, fleet management, and data extraction.
Design for velocity by breaking down large-scale end-state experiences into shippable increments, allowing for iterative development and validation.
Design the developer documentation experience to be clear, navigable, and useful for developers.
Design the Hubble mobile app, considering the unique context of mobile use for developers and operators in the field.
Ensure coherence across the full user journey, including documentation, APIs, physical device setup, dashboard, and mobile app.
Build and maintain a scalable design language system with documented components and usage guidelines.
Deliver complete design artifacts, including user flows, state coverage (idle, loading, success, error, empty), and clear handoffs for engineers.
Utilize AI tools for faster iteration, broader exploration, efficient synthesis of user research, and prototyping.
Participate in PRD reviews and RFC cycles, contributing a design perspective to product and engineering decisions.
Engage directly with developers and enterprise operators to understand their problems and inform design decisions.
Partner with Growth on activation flows and self-serve content to reduce friction for new users.
