About The Position

TalentFish is seeking two Laboratory Assistants to support laboratory operations in a fast-paced testing environment. One opening will support Home products and one opening will support Specialties. This role works closely with senior laboratory staff to process samples, perform testing, document results, and support reporting activities.

Requirements

  • Strong report writing capabilities
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field
  • Understanding of laboratory information systems
  • Understanding of laboratory equipment

Responsibilities

  • Process laboratory samples and assist with testing procedures
  • Perform tests using general laboratory equipment
  • Build and/or adapt basic test setups and equipment
  • Record, analyze, and explain test results
  • Prepare charts, graphs, and reports to document findings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational instructions
  • Evaluate test performance and sample operation accuracy
  • Operate computer systems to input and extract data
  • Maintain designated laboratory equipment and work areas
  • Follow defined test plans and datasheets
  • Communicate with customers during setup and testing activities
  • Support engineers and laboratory technicians with data collection and reporting
  • Integrate continuous improvement practices into daily responsibilities
  • Follow all physical and digital security procedures and company code of conduct
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
