About The Position

Blood Assurance is seeking a part-time Product Technician to work in their downtown Chattanooga lab on 3rd Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Monday - Friday, with rotating weekends and occasional holidays. This position offers a $3/hr shift premium. 3rd shift experience is preferred but not required. Blood Assurance is a non-profit organization with a workforce of more than 375 employees. Requirements

Be detailed oriented
Have excellent customer services skills (both verbal and written)
Have computer skills
Be able to lift 50lbs on a routine basis

Responsibilities

Answering phone to take orders from area hospitals that are in need
Packing blood and/or blood products for distribution according to standard operating procedures.
Notifying Courier when shipment is ready for pick up.
Receiving blood components from multiple locations.
Manufacture blood and blood components according to standard operating procedures.
