About The Position

TrellisWare Technologies is seeking a Product Systems Engineer to support its hardware and software products and provide end-to-end systems engineering for tactical radio products. The role spans requirements definition, design, integration, debugging, verification and validation, and post-release support. The engineer will develop deep knowledge of embedded-system hardware and software components and apply it to system design decisions and error triage. The work is hands-on at both the user level—configuring, connecting, and operating systems—and the developer level—instrumenting, characterizing, debugging, and enhancing them. The position also involves supporting customers and business teams, guiding development and manufacturing activities, and providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineering staff. Team members are expected to contribute to collaboration, team morale, self-improvement, and talent development. A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required; a master's degree or higher is preferred. At least two years of experience with a broad multidisciplinary technical background is required. Industry experience is desired but not required. The role requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency. Some positions at TrellisWare require a security clearance or the ability to obtain one; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens. Applicants accepting a conditional offer may be subject to government security investigations and must meet eligibility requirements for classified information access.
