Iteris is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Product Support Specialist to deliver exceptional field service for Iteris solutions, including advanced detection and ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) equipment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • IMSA Level I Certification (or the ability to obtain) required
  • Minimum of 3 years of field-based technical support experience with traffic signal – ITS equipment (e.g., cabinets, controllers, detection systems)
  • Proven track record working with ITS equipment, whether for a manufacturer or in a municipal/contractor role
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional service, professionalism, and effective communication in high-stakes environments
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) is essential
  • Must hold an acceptable driving record and be able to travel extensively

Nice To Haves

  • IMSA Work Zone Safety certification highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver top-tier support and post-sale services to exceed client expectations
  • Provide comprehensive on-site, and phone-based troubleshooting, system turn-on, and support of Iteris detection and signal-related ITS devices
  • Execute installation, maintenance, and repair services for Iteris equipment under maintenance/service contracts, emphasizing responsiveness and accountability
  • Uphold high safety standards while working in and around roadways, including proficiency in the use of bucket trucks
  • Foster strong client relationships by delivering professional, timely, and effective technical solutions
  • Regularly travel (up to 50% overnight) to ensure optimal on-site project support
