About The Position

Datacor is seeking a high-energy, customer service-minded, tech-savvy Product Support Specialist to join its Customer Support Team. Product Support Specialists serve as the face of Datacor for customers, providing friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable support from beginning to end. The role involves understanding customers’ needs and helping them use Datacor software to solve problems, from issue identification and troubleshooting through resolution. It is technical in nature and requires research, analytical, and database skills. The position is hybrid and located at 1111 W Morris Ave, Hammond, Louisiana 70403.

Datacor provides software solutions—including ERP, CRM, Asset Tracking, Simulation, and Formulation—to the process manufacturing industry. The company aims to help customers use data as a competitive advantage and make everyday products more safely, cost-effectively, and efficiently.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience writing SQL queries and conducting data manipulation and scrubbing.
• Strong research skills to collect information, troubleshoot, and document issues.
• At least intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel.
• Experience in customer support, technical support, and project management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in Software as a Service (SaaS).

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier One technical support.
• Handle customer support calls, emails, and feature requests.
• Build relationships with customers and advocate for them.
• Assist new and existing customers with software projects, including custom report building and custom app configuration.
• Help create, contribute to, and maintain technical documentation.
• Work with Client Services and Development teams to improve internal and customer-facing tools used to interact with the product.
