About The Position

SEI is seeking a driven, customer-focused Product Support Sales Representative to support the Butler territory. This role is crucial for driving growth in parts, service, maintenance agreements, and rental-related solutions. The representative will work directly with customers and branch personnel to identify opportunities, strengthen relationships, and increase aftermarket sales. The position emphasizes serving as a trusted advisor to help customers maximize equipment uptime and support SEI's growth in parts, service, and rental revenue, with a strong focus on developing relationships with National Accounts like Sunbelt, United Rentals, and Herc Rentals. Requirements

  • Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school; or 6 months to one year of related construction equipment experience and/or training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate technical and business information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including percentages, commissions, and measurements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve practical business challenges.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated sales professional with a passion for developing business opportunities.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of construction equipment, parts, service, or rental operations preferred.
  • Experience in construction equipment parts, service, rentals, or aftermarket sales.
  • Experience working with National Accounts.
  • Familiarity with equipment telematics and manufacturer support platforms such as JCB LiveLink.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual parts and service sales goals.
  • Increase aftermarket parts and service sales throughout SEI's existing market.
  • Develop and grow participation in service agreement and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Serve as a customer advocate by identifying needs and delivering timely solutions.
  • Expand attachment sales and rental revenue opportunities.
  • Support rental equipment revenue through service and repair business development.
  • Coordinate the sale of extended warranties and preventative maintenance contracts.
  • Strengthen relationships with National Accounts and key customers.
  • Build and maintain a strategic Key Accounts portfolio.
  • Collaborate with branch service departments to understand customer needs, labor availability, and service capabilities.
  • Partner with the marketing team to support parts and service promotional campaigns.
  • Utilize manufacturer tools such as JCB LiveLink and Machine Safety Checklists to identify and document opportunities.
  • Track and report lost sales opportunities.
  • Develop and support customer feedback and satisfaction initiatives.
  • Conduct daily field-based sales calls throughout the assigned territory.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience while helping customers maximize equipment uptime and productivity.
