About The Position

Requirements

• Post-secondary education and/or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in heavy equipment industry, construction and forestry
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Technical knowledge of ground engaging tools (GET) and related wear parts.
• Must be mechanically Inclined and have a willingness to learn
• Work experience on portable computer and advanced skills in web/data base use and research.
• Must own a vehicle and hold a valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Present customers with our prices, terms and conditions, warrantees, delivery dates and credit and financing programs.
• Produce and submit to supervisor daily and/or weekly activity reports.
• Follow up with customers and provide after-sale service.
• Continuously improve his/her knowledge of all products offered by SMS Equipment.
• Maintain current knowledge of new products and market developments in this/her territory.
