About The Position

Tigercat Industries Inc. is looking for a highly motivated, driven and organized Product Support Representative covering primarily the Prairies - Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. The successful candidate will be required to travel extensively to troubleshoot and resolve issues with dealer technicians to minimize downtime of machines and support new machines deliveries. Close communication with dealers, service managers, the service team, internal management, and engineering will be required daily. Conduct root cause analysis of failures for continuing improvement and prioritization of issues. Tigercat Industries is a proud, privately owned Canadian company since 1992. Requirements

  • Advanced technical expertise in hydraulics, electrical, mechanical, and diesel systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, diesel technology, heavy equipment technical certification) or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adaptable and resourceful with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Extensive travel within the assigned region and occasional travel to Canada required.
  • Passionate about the forestry industry and eager to contribute to our success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support to dealers and their technicians, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues to minimize machine downtime.
  • Conduct in-depth root cause analysis of equipment failures, identifying trends and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with dealers, service managers, the service team, engineering, and internal management.
  • Support new machine deliveries and ensure smooth customer onboarding.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for product improvement.
  • Participate in industry events and represent Tigercat at trade shows.
  • Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate documentation.
