Product Support Engineer
About The Position
AcuityMD is seeking an inaugural Product Support Engineer to join their Product team. This role will focus on building the AI context layer while supporting flagship data products. The engineer will become an expert in healthcare data products, assist commercial teams with complex data interpretation, and establish the AI context layer for agentic solutions. Working within the Product organization, this person will partner closely with Engineering to define, write, and improve the data context and evaluation framework for AcuityMD's AI products. They will also serve as the internal authority on healthcare data, enabling Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to accurately explain the data's meaning and limitations.
Requirements
- 4+ years working in healthcare data products
- 2+ years in roles with customer-facing interactions
- Familiarity with SQL or willingness to learn (must be adept in Excel analyses if no SQL familiarity)
- Technical writing experience, including putting complex concepts into easy written explanations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Ability to reason through use cases
- Ability to tell stories using data
- Bias towards action
- Eligible work permit in the USA

- AI evals background and experience establishing agentic quality frameworks
Responsibilities
- Support commercial teams to ensure customer success by answering complex internal data questions regarding dataset meaning and usage limitations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to build the AI data context layer with evals, requiring a deep understanding of the data and strong technical writing skills.
- Help drive the design of evaluation frameworks to measure agent quality.
- Assist in determining the necessary tooling for data products to support data explainability.
