About The Position

This is a full-time, onsite role on the 1st shift in Hauppauge, NY. The Product Support Coordinator Senior will support product flow and shipping operations to ensure parts and materials move accurately and on schedule, enabling production and customer commitments. This role involves collaboration with the team, carriers, vendors, and government contacts to execute shipping, receiving, and stockroom functions. The position directly impacts inventory accuracy, shipment timeliness, and compliance with government logistics requirements.

Requirements

  • Three years of related product support, shipping, or logistics experience (or demonstrated ability to perform the role)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient computer/terminal operation skills and ability to update inventory/MRP systems
  • Ability to read and interpret forms, specifications, and shipping documentation
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual tasks; manual dexterity
  • May require forklift operation certification and ability to meet OSHA safety qualifications
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work as a team member

  • Prior military service
  • Familiarity with government procurement, government portals, and WAWF for shipping and invoicing

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming raw stock and materials; load/unload trucks and move materials to proper locations
  • Identify and code raw material and parts; update shop floor and MRP/AMAPS systems and issue jobs per schedule
  • Prepare parts and materials for shipment, complete shipping paperwork (air bills, bills of lading, sales orders), and coordinate carriers
  • Use government portals and WAWF for submitting/tracking shipping and invoicing documents when required
  • Receive shipments at the dock, perform counts/weighing, enter data to update system records, and forward materials to teams
  • Maintain stockroom: store, pick, cycle count, and execute ASRS functions as applicable
  • Perform cleaning and degreasing operations, maintain cleaning solutions, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards
  • Perform basic equipment setup, minor repairs, and report critical shortages or issues to appropriate groups
