About The Position

Valvoline Global Operations is seeking a summer intern for their Global Product Strategy & Management team. This internship offers exposure to professional business practices and processes while contributing to team objectives. The intern will gain valuable workplace experience and develop foundational skills in communication, organization, and problem-solving. The internship is a paid, on-site summer position lasting up to 12 weeks, starting in May 2027. Valvoline Global Operations Americas Headquarters is located in Lexington, KY, and candidates willing to work an in-office schedule (4x per week) are preferred.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Economics, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
A passion for developing world class products and claims to help ignite business growth.

Nice To Haves

Strong Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Own and drive 1 to 2 major business projects to help develop a strategic vision for selected platforms in the America’s region.
Assist with day-to-day business operations and tasks within the assigned department.
Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports or presentations to garner support and drive organizational decision making.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to help achieve departmental goals.
Assist with event coordination, project tracking, and internal communications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and special assignments.
Develop new marketing assets and claims to help drive product velocity.
Uphold confidentiality of information and comply with company policies and standards.
