About The Position

The Product and Business Strategy Leaders team brings together various Google functions to ensure optimal product execution. This team focuses on scaling Google's products and infrastructure through efficient execution, sound business judgment, and effective cross-organizational collaboration. Roles typically involve strategy (analyzing industry trends, building business plans), operations (managing organizational cadences, connecting functional operating lines), and communications. The team partners with senior leadership on critical cross-organizational functions and high-impact projects, assisting Engineers, PMs, UX, and other functions in building and delivering user-delighting products. The Education team's mission is to transform learning and teaching at scale by enabling K-12 and higher education institutions globally to leverage Google tools and technology. With AI, the potential for technology to enhance education is greater than ever. The Strategy and Operations team will shape the cross-Google narrative for Google Education, translating high-level outlooks into operational realities and ensuring effective business operations. This role offers a defining opportunity to transform teaching and learning for students worldwide by harnessing learning science and Google's breakthrough capabilities to shape the future of education.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple projects.

Experience managing complex systems, cross-functional stakeholder groups, and large-scale change management initiatives.
Experience gathering and analyzing data to uncover insights, with an ability to synthesize and simplify complex information into actionable strategies.

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to represent complex business or technical concepts with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end operational aptitude to ensure flawless execution of the highest-priority goals.
Lead strategic projects that are operationally intensive and cross-functional to ensure there is structure and timely delivery of project goals.
Establish Key Performance Indicators and timelines for each project, regular metrics reporting that tie back to strategic goals, and post-implementation impact analysis.
Lead OKR scoring to ensure we are making progress against our ambitious goals, identifying areas of softness where we should double down. Support annual planning activities for the Edu portfolio.
Drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders on critical strategic initiatives.
