About the job: In this role, you will take ownership of managing the surfactant product portfolio across key North American production sites, including Fort Worth, Houston, and Toller. As a Product Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective lifecycle management, performance, and strategic alignment of products manufactured at these locations. You will work cross-functionally with operations, regulatory, commercial, and technical teams to support product optimization, maintain compliance, and drive business value. This position offers the opportunity to influence portfolio strategy, support continuous improvement, and contribute to the successful commercialization and sustainability of surfactant products across the region. This role is office-based and can be performed from either our Houston, TX or Chicago, IL locations. In your future role as a Product Specialist, you will: Be an integral member of the Product Specialist team supporting Performance Formulations. Continuously review existing procedures and tools, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving enhancements. Collaborate with PSRA on regional and global product registrations to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance. Manage REACH registrations and monitor substance volume tracking requirements. Serve as a subject matter expert on product and application-related topics. Participate in and/or coordinate projects related to new product introductions, specification updates, and procedural changes. Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related activities at assigned production locations. Develop and provide product specifications for external materials such as Product Data Sheets (PDS) and brochures. Issue official statements concerning raw materials and finished products. Respond to product-related inquiries, including prioritized customer questionnaires. Contribute to and maintain standardized product and plant statements. Drive product lifecycle management activities, including commercialization, product changes, and product phase-outs. Identify and recommend candidates for product elimination to reduce portfolio complexity, and support execution of these initiatives. Evaluate opportunities for product consolidation to maximize return on investment across production sites. Ensure accurate HS code classification to support efficient import/export operations. Participate as a member of the Accolade New Product Project Team. Contribute to and/or coordinate inputs for New Product Evaluation Documents. Maintain and update product data across systems, including the Active Product List (input role) and SAP nomenclature and product hierarchy.
