About The Position

Quill is part of the Staples family of brands and a trusted leader in office supplies. As a Product Specialist, you will improve Quill’s digital shopping experience by strengthening product setup, content quality, discoverability, and online performance. You will partner across Merchandising, SKU Operations, and eCommerce to turn insights into actions that drive conversion, margin, engagement, and average order value.

  • 1+ Year of Product/ Merchandising experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • Online merchandising or eCommerce experience.
  • Experience using product, search, category, or promotional performance data to identify opportunities and support decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Use performance insights to recommend and implement web selling tools that improve margin, share of wallet, and average order value.
  • Analyze SKU, search, keyword, and category performance to improve visibility, discoverability, and product launches.
  • Evaluate product content, including attributes, descriptions, images, and third-party content, to support conversion, SEO, and Staples standards.
  • Conduct competitive and market research to support item selection, category strategy, product positioning, and the customer experience.
  • Support promotions by coordinating web assets, pricing, creative development, launch reviews, and site validation.
  • Ensure accurate SKU setup for new items, bundles, and CD products in partnership with SKU Operations.
  • Build reports and ad hoc analyses to identify sales, customer experience, and assortment opportunities.
  • Resolve product-related requests from internal partners with speed and accuracy.
  • Support vendor communications, issue resolution, product content maintenance, and special projects as assigned.
