About The Position

MidwayUSA is seeking a Product Specialist to work with a Merchandising Manager to select products and build relationships with Suppliers in the Outdoor industry. This role is ideal for someone looking for a career in the outdoor industry and who is passionate about shooting, hunting, and the outdoors. The Product Specialist will be responsible for selecting products within budget, developing supplier relationships, and reviewing supplier performance to drive improvement.

Requirements

Bachelors degree (Business, Marketing or related field preferred)
1-3 years applicable professional experience (preferred)
Excellent product and technical knowledge
Excellent creative writing skills
Ability and desire to learn and implement new ideas
Team player with a positive attitude
User of MidwayUSA's core products and have a passion for shooting, hunting and the outdoors

Responsibilities

Select products according to established category budget & overall company budget
Develop relationships with Suppliers
Review Supplier Performance metrics & suggest & implement measures to drive improvement
