About The Position

The PCS (Protection, Control & Solutions) division of Eaton, a leader in electrical power distribution products and solutions, is seeking a Product Specialist to join our team. This position is based at our Mississauga, ON facility and offers benefits from Day one. The expected annual salary range for this role is $69,000 to $75,000 per year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Product Specialist is responsible for the marketing, project managing, and engineering of our electrical control and power distribution products up to 600v to meet customer expectations. This includes responsibility for pricing, negotiations, order entry, customer order engineering, customer service, quality and manufacturing of panelboards, switchboards, and enclosed controls. This position is open to new or recent graduates of relevant programs.

Requirements

Post-secondary Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution
Must be able to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
No relocation provided. This role requires working onsite at our Mississauga, Ontario facility.

Nice To Haves

Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
AutoCAD experience
1+ years of experience in manufacturing electrical controls and/or power distribution products
Experience providing/creating pricing details/quotations for customers
Strong technical aptitude of electrical distribution and control systems
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment as part of a team
Effective time management, prioritization and project management skills

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
Maintain pricing authority for field sales and distributors.
Develop strategies to support sales growth, customer service and price realization.
Manages the administration of orders, production planning and scheduling including maintaining inventory availability for the assembly of products.
Provide engineering drawings.
Prepare quotations, complete AutoCAD drawings and provide application support for Eaton products.
