About The Position

Eaton’s PCS division is currently seeking a Product Specialist- Circuit Breakers and OEM Integration to join the team. This is a hybrid role, based at the Burlington, ON facility. Eaton Burlington is the head office for Eaton's electrical sector in Canada, located in Burlington, Ontario. This central location hosts essential departments such as Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources and Customer Service. The Burlington headquarters is designed to support a collaborative and innovative work environment. The expected annual salary range for this role is $82000 - $102000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Requirements

  • College diploma or university degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing, sales, engineering, digital marketing, data analytic and/or operations.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • This role requires working onsite (hybrid schedule) at our Burlington, ON facility.

Nice To Haves

  • College diploma or university degree is required in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related discipline from an accredited institution
  • Technical Professional Designation (P.Eng., CET, C.Tech.)
  • Understanding of power distribution and/or electrical machine control systems, applications and their associated components.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the marketing activities and customer integration of Eaton’s circuit breaker product lines, including: MCCB, MCB, LV, and MV products, for both internal and external customers.
  • Creates, supports, and implements value propositions that generate demand for Eaton circuit breakers and OEM components.
  • Develops materials and tools that support product management, the sales organization, channel partners, and customers from pre-sales through post-sales.
  • Facilitates customer integration work, develops customer-specific plans (including aftermarket support), supports quotations and pricing and inventory strategies, and improves SIOP efficiency through accurate forecasting of market needs for Eaton products.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for Eaton sales teams, EatonCare and customers (internal and external) across assigned circuit breaker product families.
  • Provides technical and commercial support by responding to customer inquiries, including application guidance, interpretation of specifications, and drawing requirements.
  • Assists customers in locating, selecting, and downloading components and assembly drawings to support their product development efforts.
  • Supports the resolution of product quality issues by providing technical guidance and driving root-cause analysis through Eaton’s quality management system, ensuring timely and effective issue closure.
  • Develops and manages customer-specific project plans aligned with Eaton’s objectives and customer requirements, executing through cross-functional coordination and clear communication of progress and expectations.
  • Oversees day-to-day customer and tactical activities, including order expedites, plant load planning and warranty support, while coordinating large-scale orders and projects to ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction.
  • Leads the development of marketing and sales enablement materials such as price lists, application guides, product aids, catalogs, launch materials and electronic sales tools for the Canadian market.
  • Delivers product presentations and training sessions on circuit breakers and their applications.
  • Develops technical content that supports value propositions and value-selling strategies based on customer needs, market segments and industry trends.
  • Maintains and manages product pricing and attribute data within Eaton systems.
  • Drives product line performance by identifying cost reduction and margin improvement opportunities and preparing sales and order reports to support strategic business reviews.
  • Leads customer transition initiatives to Eaton circuit breakers, ensuring alignment with the sales organization on key accounts.
  • Engages targeted end users to drive product specification and demand creation across OEM and interunit customers.
  • Contributes to new product development by supporting specification efforts and participating in reviews aligned with the PROLaunch project management process.
