About The Position

The Product Specialist Analyst will be an integral part of the 20+ person Fundraising & Investor Relations team in the New York office. This role focuses on supporting the team with investor relations projects and processes, maintaining deep knowledge of Riverside's funds, and serving as a key liaison between stakeholders. The position requires a proactive approach to support fundraising strategies, maintain communication materials, and ensure the seamless operation and representation of Riverside’s investment strategies to investors and prospects. The Analyst will work out of the New York office.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting or accounting.
  • Highly articulate with proven technical skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, organized, and thorough.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills with professional maturity to work effectively with senior leadership.
  • Experience using AI to support analyses.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams); highly proficient in CRM systems (e.g., DealCloud) and private markets databases (e.g., Preqin, Dakota, Pitchbook).
  • Basic comprehension of private equity asset class with desire to learn more.
  • Understanding of rules and regulations related to private placements and advertising.
  • Ability to remain flexible in response to fluctuations in client demands and business needs.
  • Proactive self-starter with strong pattern recognition with foresight and initiative to identify and execute.
  • Team-oriented individual who works collaboratively in a high-performance environment and immediately fosters strong internal working relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Riverside’s operations and various strategies.
  • Manage all projects and processes to support fundraising efforts related to Riverside’s strategies and serve as a liaison between the IR team and fund managers.
  • Remain current on Riverside fund portfolios and all activities occurring within Riverside’s funds, including acquisitions / dispositions, pipelines and fund & portfolio company performance metrics.
  • Prepare internal educational updates and content for fundraising- and relationship management- focused team members.
  • Collaborate with fundraising- and relationship management- focused team members to plan and execute go-to-market fundraising strategies, fund launches, pipeline management, investor requests, LP communications, among other requests.
  • In collaboration with various internal stakeholders (including fund managers, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing), prepare offering materials ahead of fund launches and maintain fund datarooms (e.g., PPMs, LPAs, among others.).
  • Create and maintain marketing and communications materials throughout all life cycles of a fund, such as presentations, quarterly updates, annual reports / updates, and newsletters working with Marketing, Compliance and other stakeholders.
  • In partnership with internal stakeholders, manage recurring and ad hoc investor requests, such as RFPs, DDQs, diligence questions, data requests, or any other investor need.
  • Update and maintain Riverside information in various third-party databases.
  • Assist with various parts of the co-investment processes, including initial communications collateral, investor due diligence, dataroom management, and closing.
  • Utilize proficiency in subscription process and documentation to ensure seamless execution of fund and co-investment closings working closely with Legal, Compliance, and operations teams.
  • Play a key role in preparing for various recurring investor updates and events throughout the year (e.g., Mid-Year calls, LPAC calls, valuation calls, Annual Investor Meetings, etc.), in liaison with fund managers, Marketing, Strategy & Analytics, and other team members.
