About The Position

The Product Sourcing Manager is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and onboarding domestic and global suppliers that deliver high-quality, cost-effective products to drive competitive advantage. This role manages complex, SKU-intensive product categories and develops sourcing strategies that improve supplier performance, cost efficiency, and supply chain resiliency. As an individual contributor, this role partners closely with Product Development and Category Management teams to support new product launches, supplier selection, and long-term sourcing strategy. Candidates must be in or near Richmond, VA for consideration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Typically requires 4+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or supply chain
  • Experience managing supplier/vendor relationships and supporting sourcing initiatives
  • Experience participating in or leading RFP/RFQ processes and contract negotiations
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product, category, or supply chain teams
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis without the need for employer support or sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies aligned to cost, quality, and supply continuity goals
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard domestic and global suppliers, including contract manufacturers
  • Lead sourcing events (RFP/RFQ) in partnership with Product Development and Analytics teams
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers to optimize value
  • Manage supplier relationships and hold vendors accountable for performance, quality, and service levels
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier communication, including escalation and issue resolution
  • Lead joint business planning and ongoing strategic supplier discussions
  • Drive supplier diversification strategies, including geographic and country-of-origin considerations to improve supply chain resilience
  • Partner cross-functionally to resolve quality, cost, or supply issues and ensure high service levels
  • Proactively identify new supplier opportunities and monitor market trends, cost drivers, and supplier capabilities
  • Support category strategy by analyzing competitive landscape and informing sourcing decisions
