Aladdin Product Solutions Specialist - Private Markets, Director
About The Position
BlackRock is seeking individuals who are passionate about building innovative technology that shapes financial markets and solving complex challenges. The Aladdin Product Solutions team focuses on accelerating the design and delivery of end-to-end product solutions across the platform, operating horizontally across business, product, and engineering. This team tackles complex, multi-product solutions that span front-to-back Aladdin workflows, aiming to improve time to market, user experience, and reduce delivery and operational risk for both Aladdin clients and BlackRock. The role of a Director in this team involves strong program and product management skills to accelerate solutioning, manage stakeholders, and oversee the delivery of solutions. This position operates at the intersection of business and technology, translating client and commercial needs into product solutions, and serving as the primary point of accountability for solution outcomes. The role also involves engaging with Sales and the Aladdin Product organization to assess client-driven product requests, drive commercial product commitments, and convene senior stakeholders for decision-making.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading large, cross-functional, technology-driven initiatives delivering measurable outcomes.
- Strong understanding of front-to-back Aladdin workflows and the broader Aladdin ecosystem.
- Experience with whole portfolio concepts and private market technology platforms and service providers such as eFront and leading loan servicers.
- Experience with the lifecycle of private credit and/or private equity.
- Proven ability to work effectively with product managers, engineers, and business partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal, networking, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Comfort using AI tools in day‑to‑day product work (e.g., prompt-based research, summarization, draft specifications, workflow mapping).
- 10+ years product management experience with proven record of successful launches.
- 10+ years project management experience with proven track record of timely, on-budget delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams across Aladdin pillars to deliver integrated solutions for private credit and whole portfolio solutions.
- Translate complex client and commercial requirements into clear solution designs and executable delivery plans.
- Drive the adoption of an AI enabled product development lifecycle and hold teams accountable for using AI to improve execution velocity and operating efficiency, while maintaining appropriate governance, quality, and risk discipline.
- Represent regional perspectives to influence product strategy in support of revenue growth and client satisfaction.
- Proactively identify delivery risks, escalate issues appropriately, and implement mitigation strategies to keep execution on track.
- Drive alignment across stakeholders and product teams, actively managing dependencies, trade-offs, and delivery priorities.
