About The Position

SPIROL is a global manufacturer seeking a driven and technically minded Product Sales Engineer / Specialist to join their team at their headquarters in Danielson, CT. This is a 100% on-site, growth-focused role responsible for leading business development and revenue growth for an assigned product line. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, curious, persistent, and comfortable working independently. SPIROL provides engineered metal fasteners for various industries including automotive, hand and power tools, aerospace, and green energy.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
Demonstrated technical aptitude required.
5-7 years of experience in sales, business development, application engineering, or a related customer-facing role.
Strong analytical, technical, strategic planning and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency using CRM systems to document activities, manage opportunities, and track progress.

Nice To Haves

Experience with technical products sold into engineered assemblies, manufacturing applications or similar industrial environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive revenue and profit growth for the assigned product line by identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities.
Develop and execute annual business development plans that define target markets, applications, customers, growth objectives and strategies.
Identify and qualify new opportunities through market research, competitive analysis, industry resources, trade shows, referrals, digital tools and direct customer engagement.
Partner with regional sales teams to develop and execute target customer penetration plans.
