Requirements

  • Master’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years of work experience in the job offered or in an information systems-related occupation
  • Requires 2 years of experience in the following:
  • Program management, strategy, management consulting, communications, operations privacy policies, or regulations
  • Privacy or technology law
  • Managing projects
  • Organizing, coordinating, multi-tasking, and process-improvements on a project
  • Privacy or security risk evaluation of new products or features
  • Working within a product environment and partnering with product managers and engineering functions
  • Managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Manage cross-functional privacy review process for new products and features.
  • Facilitate discussion and coordination among product managers and other information security/privacy stakeholders across the company, including members of the legal, public policy, product marketing, security, and communications teams to develop and drive consensus around creative solutions to privacy-by-design challenges.
  • Research and stay up to date with information security and data protection trends and will recommend improvements to consumer product teams and other privacy stakeholders.
  • Track and document new product proposals, status updates, and key decisions related to Meta’s privacy review process.
  • Communicate privacy decisions to the broader cross-functional team, and ensure that those decisions are properly implemented.
  • Responsible for relationship building and collaboration within cross-functional teams, especially to facilitate collaboration on information security and privacy processes and initiatives.
