Product Review Engineer
About The Position
Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for a Product Review Engineer to join the Production Engineering team located in Ridley Park, PA. The selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing non-conformances on the H47 program and providing a disposition for resolution. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.
- 1+ years of experince in an engineering discipline.
- Must be a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15.
- Must be able to work 100% onsite.
Nice To Haves
- 2 or more years of experience working in a cross functional environment and/or business unit teams.
- Material Review Board Certification experience or similar Liaison Engineering experience.
- Aerospace experience, fabrications, manufacturing, and/or additive manufacturing experience.
- Production engineering experience.
- Relevant technological knowledge.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead, work independently and in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assists with analysis and disposition of products for non-conformance; supports configuration control.
- Provides basic assistance to identify and document deviations that could impact product integrity, safety, design and regulatory requirements.
- Collects data to support root causes analysis and assists with implementing corrective action.
- Provides technical support by researching issues related to design, manufacturing, regulations and process.
- Supports activities to define, initiate and approves technical content for revisions/improvements to product definition data.
