About The Position

Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for a Product Review Engineer to join the Production Engineering team located in Ridley Park, PA. The selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing non-conformances on the H47 program and providing a disposition for resolution. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.
• 1+ years of experince in an engineering discipline.
• To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

• 2 or more years of experience working in a cross functional environment and/or business unit teams.
• Material Review Board Certification experience or similar Liaison Engineering experience.
• Aerospace experience, fabrications, manufacturing, and/or additive manufacturing experience.
• Production engineering experience.
• Relevant technological knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists with analysis and disposition of products for non-conformance; supports configuration control.
• Provides basic assistance to identify and document deviations that could impact product integrity, safety, design and regulatory requirements.
• Collects data to support root causes analysis and assists with implementing corrective action.
• Provides technical support by researching issues related to design, manufacturing, regulations and process.
• Supports activities to define, initiate and approves technical content for revisions/improvements to product definition data.
