About The Position

The Product Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring compliance with product/part requirements through daily receiving inspections, product inspections of firearms, air guns, and airsoft products, and manufacturing quality audits. This role involves dimensional inspection using various measuring equipment, processing non-conformance reports, and assisting in the first article approval and corrective action processes. The technician will also support new product testing as needed and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

Experience with handheld and vision measurement equipment.
Ability to read and understand part drawings and specifications.
Must have good technical writing, mathematics, and sound computer skills.
Good mechanical ability and aptitude.
Must be organized and use time wisely.
Must have the ability to operate air guns and firearms.
Must interact effectively, and positively, with other departments and external suppliers/customers.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma and Quality experience preferred.
Experience and technical knowledge of firearms, air guns, and airsoft is a plus.
Experience in quality inspections or testing to an ASTM or ISO standard is a plus.
Knowledge of GD&T is a plus.

Responsibilities

Pull random samples from each shipment or production lot to ensure compliance with product/part requirements.
Perform product inspections of firearms, air guns, and airsoft products.
Conduct dimensional inspection using various hand and vision measuring equipment.
Perform manufacturing quality audits.
Process non-conformance reports.
Assist in the first article approval process.
Assist with corrective actions.
Assist in the corrective action process.
Assist with new product testing as needed.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
