About The Position

Moove Oil Analysis Laboratory is recruiting a Product QC Analyst I to perform routine and non-routine laboratory testing on raw materials and finished lubricant products. The analyst uses standardized laboratory methods and analytical instrumentation to evaluate chemical and physical properties, interpret test results, verify compliance with specifications, and communicate findings to internal and external customers. The role monitors product quality and data integrity, supports continuous improvement, and helps deliver accurate analytical results within established turnaround times. The analyst evaluates raw materials and approves them for production, tests blended lubricants against product specifications, approves finished products for release, and assists with creating Certificates of Analysis. The role works closely with the blending team to troubleshoot specification issues and provide corrections for non-compliant material after training. Product quality control is the primary focus, though cross-training in Engine Guard oil analysis or refinery support may be required according to business needs. Analysts in those areas test in-use lubricants to monitor engine health or analyze refinery samples to support process adjustments and product quality. The position works with minimum supervision and in accordance with company standards. The laboratory role includes sample management, instrument operation and upkeep, data review, recordkeeping, laboratory organization, supply monitoring, procedure documentation, and adherence to safety and chemical hygiene requirements.
