Refrigerated Product Puller
About The Position
Tuscan Dairy has an opening for a Product Puller for our Refrigerated Cooler! This role involves performing a combination of receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to assist in the distribution of product. The Product Puller will pull and stack product based on daily orders, ensuring customer order specifics are met in a timely manner. Maintaining organized and properly rotated products is crucial. The position also supports preventative maintenance plans, monitors product quality, and completes production and quality logs. Accurate counts on load tags and proper completion of all required paperwork according to SOPs are essential. This role utilizes a continuous improvement mindset to identify process improvement opportunities and reports any food safety and food quality issues immediately. Maintaining safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety regulations is paramount. Adherence to DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements is expected. While the listed responsibilities are comprehensive, other duties may be assigned as required.
Requirements
- Able to effectively work in a team environment
- Able to legibly write entries for record keeping

- Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Able to follow directions
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred
- Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
Responsibilities
- Perform any combination of receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to assist in the distribution of product
- Pull and stack product based on daily orders
- Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
- Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation
- Support preventative maintenance plans
- Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues
- Complete production and quality logs
- Furnish accurate counts on load tags
- Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information
- Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s
- Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
- Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
- Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
- Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
