About The Position

Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines is seeking a Product Sales Manager to join its local council! Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines represents 41 counties within North Carolina. Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines, in partnership with Girl Scouts of the USA, has a mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. The Product Program Manager is responsible for supporting Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines’ (GSNCCP) product sale campaigns including the Fall Product Sale and the Cookie program. The manager supports the growth of the product program by increasing internal and external awareness, understanding, and visibility of Girl Scouting across the jurisdiction of the Council and works to enhance opportunities for Girl Scouts participating in the Council’s product programs and partnering with the administrative volunteers to ensure the program’s overall effectiveness and success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in sales, communication, and/or public relations
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Cognito, and other creative database management systems
  • Adaptable to learning new technology to keep up with the latest marketing trends.
  • Ability to work with and manage a diverse group of staff, volunteers, girls, and vendors.
  • Ability to work well in an interdepartmental team environment.
  • Actively support and promote the Council’s and GSUSA’s commitments to diversity and inclusion.
  • Be willing to obtain a GSUSA membership ($25 annually) upon employment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and access to personal transportation for business use.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Product Program Manager with the execution of the Fall Product and Cookie Programs; coordinate with GSUSA vendors to ensure all operations meet brand standards.
  • Train and support Troop Fall Product Sale Coordinators, new Troop Cookie Coordinators, and local volunteers through targeted workshops and meetings.
  • Secure corporate-level booth locations with local/national partners and manage the approval pipeline for troop-secured booth locations.
  • Plan and execute Operation Cookie Drop events, manage the High Achievers Club program, and support Area Coordinators with Service Unit Cookie Rallies.
  • Manage the end-to-end participation, training, and support for independent program participants.
  • Coordinate the delivery and tracking of cookie cupboard inventory, program supplies, and participant rewards.
  • Partner with the Membership team to recruit volunteers, collaborate with Marketing to promote programs, and support overall council fund development goals.
