About The Position

Logitech is seeking a Product & Portfolio Manager for its Healthcare vertical team. This role involves driving growth by investigating and executing Logitech's approach within the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will be driven by curiosity about human needs, possess a strong focus on translating these needs into hardware-first experiences, and have a pragmatic approach to product and service delivery. This is a self-starter role requiring comfort in portfolio curation, initiating product development with cross-functional teams, and collaborating with business groups. Success requires a clear vision, adaptability to a fast-paced market, strong organization, influence without authority, attention to detail, first-principle thinking, and adherence to deadlines.

Requirements

  • Direct experience in product/portfolio management as described above with at least one product or 5+ years of work experience in bringing multiple hardware/sw products to market in a functional role like engineering, QA etc.
  • Worked on consumer electronics products from concept to mass production through stage-gate processes.
  • Cross-functional experience in working collaboratively with different teams in the development process.
  • Strong understanding of the product (hardware and software) life cycle process, engineering principles, design constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refresh tailored, formally committed product portfolios for the vertical.
  • Develop, maintain, and prioritize key use cases for the vertical in conjunction with the design organization (User, workflow, context, ecosystem, products).
  • Develop and maintain guidelines and rules that carry across the product portfolio evaluation and development of new products.
  • Develop and maintain curated portfolios for the vertical (including gaps and opportunity areas to be addressed).
  • Maintain competitive intelligence for curated portfolio by use case with design and marketing teams and BGs.
  • Develop business cases and drive "made for vertical" portfolio products agreed upon with product business groups.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the existing portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain turnkey solution sets by use case for each vertical, including non-Logitech product categories.
  • Support marketing and sales enablement to drive sales through channel and DE.
  • Develop and maintain a 3-year per business group product and feature-benefit roadmap from a vertical perspective, along with business cases.
  • Contribute to the framing & visioning of product development projects to articulate user needs and translate them into design and product intent/principles.
  • Take product intent and principles and work towards a single direction for product development focus.
  • Contribute to product development from vision through launch.
  • Work closely with design, SMEs, program management, engineering, marketing, operations, and business development to define and detail product requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, BG product & portfolio, and design teams to reach optimal tradeoffs between product experience vision, time to market, and product cost.
  • Work with manufacturing partners in the development and review of prototypes.
  • Develop plans with consumer research for testing product/experience during development with internal and external users.
  • Work with extended cross-business groups and external partners where necessary.
  • Work with go-to-market teams to detail out the business case and financial implications for projects, and customer support plans for products.
  • Contribute to gate reviews with program management and BG product management.
