Product Platform Manager – Geomatics
About The Position
The Product Platform Manager supports the strategic and operational success of one or more products within a Product Platform. The role executes product strategies, drives roadmap implementation, manages the product lifecycle, and supports product competitiveness and profitability through cross-functional coordination and data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities have global scope across multiple regions and markets. The position is an individual-contributor role with moderate decision-making authority: it approves operational plans, manages defined budgets, and adapts tactics within established guidelines. Budget responsibility is indirect, providing input into budget decisions, advising on cost optimization, or recommending investments.
Requirements
- Education in surveying, construction management, or a related civil engineering field is preferred.
- Experience in construction and/or surveying-related practices.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle processes, profitability metrics, and go-to-market planning.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience interpreting data to drive decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic and execution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed organization.
- Problem-solving attitude with customer and business focus.

Responsibilities
- Implement product strategies and roadmaps defined by the Product Platform Owner.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and effective delivery of roadmap milestones.
- Oversee day-to-day product lifecycle activities, including new product launches, product updates, and end-of-life transitions.
- Ensure alignment with market needs and customer requirements.
- Monitor product performance indicators, including revenue, margins, costs, and competitiveness.
- Support pricing recommendations and profitability improvement initiatives.
- Act as the interface between Product Creation, Product Supply, Marketing, and Sales Units.
- Drive coordination to ensure high-quality execution across functions.
- Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Provide recommendations to shape product positioning and portfolio decisions.
